My Girl

Mollie on the run

Molls

Some lovely pictures of My Girl, By Rebecca Taunton, taken at Church Cove where we were doing a walk for the magazine Cornwall Today. We nearly didn't make it as the forecast was lovely, and in Falmouth the sky was a clear, Wedgewood blue. Then RT rang at 11.30 - her partner was working in Helston where it was raining. Oh no! An hour later, the rain had stopped but it was still cloudy. We decided to risk it and very glad we did - the sky was clear enough for RT to get some great shots and I was able to make all the notes for the walk.

My gums have been causing more problems so Mollie and Bussie are very cheering. This morning Bussie sauntered down the corridor after breakfast and put his nose round the door. He then looked back at me in disgust and I could have sworn he said, "What? Haven't made the bed yet? PAH!" And sauntered back to the lounge to sit on the table in a huff. Can't get the staff, you know.

Feeling all discombobulated with Christmas coming. Haven't bought a single present and can't get my head round it somehow. Anyone else suffering from pre-Christmas-itis?

Wow, those pics are fantastic FP. She's gorgeous and RT is very talented.

I'm suffering end-of-term-itis but am slightly cheered up by booking somewhere to get away to...

Good luck with your plans.

Mollie looks like she is having a great time. Yes, I got into a panic that my Christmas preparations were a bit behind. Apart from the cards, I had done very little, so today I decided to drag myself to the nearest shopping mall and buy whatever I could within two hours. I am pleased to say I managed to get a fair bit done. This weekend, Kay and i are going to decorate the tree.

I think I'll save this year's Christmas for next year. Not done any shopping and have been housebound for 10 days (iced-in and then bronchitis-ed in).
Mollie is soooo gorgeous!

I love those pictures, so gorgeous.

Sorry to hear you're still having problems with your gums, how sore and miserable for you.

I'm also suffering from pre-Christmasitis, and have forced myself to start writing the dreaded Christmas cards.

Absolutely lovely photos!

Sorry to hear you're still having mouth trouble. :(

All my shopping is done all I have to do is put the tree and decorations up on Sunday. :)

FP: I cut my Xmas card list down to FOUR (all in UK)and one BIG one for DGS. I am sending a donation to my local Animal Shelter in lieu. Great talking Thurs, can't believe I forestalled the annual sing!! Much love, SIL.

debs - gums improving now thanks and at least I've written the crimble cards!

Ak - you sound incredibly organised, well done you! As we're going away for Xmas - for the first time in 12 years - I'm not doing much in the way of decorations. Or shall I?.....

Vermont Designs - it was great talking to you too but sorry you missed out on the annual sing! Hope you had a great birthday anyway.

I would hate to loose Tilly. She ran out on a busy road not long ago, my heart jumped. Good news here. A fellow Border Terrier owner has offered the services of his Male dog. I hope Tilly takes to him. If you get my drift.
