On the water

Last week saw the Tall Ships come to Falmouth for a wonderful few days. I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening ceremony so went on board the Polish ship before the mad rush started.

We took Echo out for the Parade of Sail on Sunday

and then on Monday Al came down so finally I got to have a sail on Snap and we were blessed with the most wonderful weather, and two fabulous sails.

And having had a double birthday celebration yesterday, I am now shattered.

Off to Dorset for a few days next week to catch up with my dear friend Av.
See you all soon.

Falmouth must have been such an exciting place last weekend. I know how the Tall Ships event draws the crowds.
Looking forward to reading your experiences on that amazing Polish ship.
Enjoy catching up with your friend, Sue. It sounds like exactly what you need. xx

Rena - there was a wonderful buzz about Falmouth last weekend -and so many people! 20,000 over the weekend apparently. Off to St Mawes this weekend to review the Idle Rocks hotel and race in a working boat!
